How to Beat Peyton Manning

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Dirty cheap shot hit to knock him out of the game. Bobby McCray probably, since he wouldn't be missed if kicked out of the game. Isn't this Greg William's defensive game plan, rather than changing coverages? (Strato had it right, ...

Re: How to Beat Peyton Manning

I agree with what a lot of people have been saying. We got a lot of comparisons to the Jets defense this week. What the commentators seem to forget, though, is Drew Brees is NOT Mark Sanchez. If we're up 17-6 in the 2nd quarter, yeah, Colts will get more points than that, but so will we! A lot more! We go into half time with a lead, there may be some drop off, but we're getting a minimum 3 scores in the second half.

Wrong. This is "football", not ballet. If you wanna see a tea party, try another sport, ok?

No crying before the kickoff. It's uncouth.

Re: How to Beat Peyton Manning

You guys took Warner and Farve out of their game, you can take Peyton out of his.

Some people are saying the Saints are bad because you got 6 turnovers against the Vikings and went into over time. Well one thing to consider is that the Vikings have an awesome defense. Much better than the Ponies.

Though Brees's accuracy was a bit off in that game, I have no doubt that he'll have it back today!!!

NOW GO GET THAT TITLE!!!

Excellent points. Plus, the commentators keep saying "IF the vikes didn't fumble" like they just magically fumbled and our defense didn't CAUSE those fumbles.

GO back and look at some of the New England games where he was hypnotized by Bellicheck.

Yeah, I'm so sick and tired of hearing from these so-called experts If...If...If. With the exception of one fumble our "horrible" D CAUSED all of those fumbles. And if they paid attention to those fumbles there were at least 2-3 of those we did not recover because we tried to pick up the ball rather than fall on it. So IF we had recovered those two or three the Viks wouldn't have scored the points they did and we would have won going away rather than the other way around without the turnovers.
