Forgive me of my past trolling.

I'll come clean as a bitter Pats fan and I saw the Saints as a legitimate threat to the only 16-0 season in history. I honestly hate the Cowboys and I regret what I came to this forum to do.

With that said, this SB was one of the most exciting I can remember and I found myself cheering on the Saints like they had the flying elvis on their helmet. Dree Brees is a true class act and deserves every ounce of respect I can muster for an opposing QB. He truly earned the MVP award this season over Manning and it's a shame Manning is held above all others despite his lack of success.

Enjoy the moment that comes with seeing your team cart the trophy off the field. It truly is a blessing to see a team came so far and rightfully take what many wrongly thought they didn't deserve.

I don't think there was ever any question

The only thing missing from his resume was a SB ring. Statistically he's been as good as anybody the last few years.

The league handing the MVP to Peyton was a sham, Brees earned it. He just doesn't have everyone nuzzling his sack yet

First - Thx GeauxCowboys. Had a great email from an ex-colleague in NH saying much the same thing.
Second - Agree. Not his fault, but saying Peyton is MVP for 4 years is an insult to the many very very good players in the NFL over that period. OK Peyton deserved recognition when the Colts allegedly had no defense and he was carrying the team. Fine - they took account of his PRODUCTION. But now the pundits are waist deep in their own hype.
