Saints’ onside decision ‘terrified’ rookie kicker

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Wow Caldwell looked like he was constipated after that. Morstead was fantastic I bet he was terrified & it was great to see him jumping up & down like a little kid (which he is - compared to me)...

its the kick that fooled the world not just us,thats why it worked. but does anyone feel like i felt that we were going to win this game no matter what. you could see it in there determination,we were tight at first but when we started feelin it; it was church. we were the better team. they could not stop us at all. and our defence did the icing on the cake.

My reaction to it was "What the f*** was that?!?" It was such an unusual kick it didn't even register that they were trying an onsides kick, I thought he muffed the kick something bad.

I thought the same thing... WTF!
The manner in which he kicked it was very sneaky.

It was nearly a full leg swing to disquise the kick, I guess.

I then realized they'd planned it when the players on that side reacted and started screamin' DAMN STRAIGHT! GET THE BALL

Our coach rocks. Period.
