Yeah Bell looks pretty solid. The SEC RBs could all be solid players at the next level. Charles Scott, Montarrio Hardesty (my sleeper), Ben Tate and Anthony Dixon. All will be great mid-round backs.

Here is a thought. With the Saints oogling over Beanie Wells last year watch out for a RB pick at #32 to surprise. Toby Gearhardt or LeGarrette Blount?

Careful with those U of Tenn players (the Tenn Paradox)...

Speaking of U of Tenn, did you see the broadjump of Montario Hardesty...

freakin Gore!--- Im still waiting too. Man, theres so much water now at our big trapping spot in the Trinity River backwaters-- everywhere, nice & flooded, but noooo, its gotta be freezin ass cold. You know this too, if it would just warm up..... I plan on living on crawfish & crabs before long.

Hey, glad you reminded me about the Saintsations. My little redhead still doesnt hate me yet, and I think she's gonna want to dance again this year. You should have seen her last fall before the Bengals preseason game, dancing on the Fleur at midfield.

We'll find an excuse to come back to the Bayou, and Im definitely up for beer & bugs, JP!

Wow, that Hagan is a machine! How does he know all that stuff??? Wow!

Re: 2010 NFL Draft

for people concerned about terrence cody's weight.....

he weighed in at 354 lbs which was just above his playing weight for the majority of the season.....he was able to drop 16 lbs in a month which means he can drop even more in an NFL mini camp

his ability and commitment to lose that weight in such a short period of time should prove that his work ethic shouldnt come in to question when evaluating this kid

Re: 2010 NFL Draft

I don't like Cody, especially if we stay in a 4-3 front; I just don't like the big guys who don't have the discipline to control their weight; it tends to translate into their effort and play on the field...

he dropped over 15 lbs in less than 30 days

i know people dont get that but its not easier for heavier people to lose weight simply because they have more weight

its actually harder

cody will play in the nfl at 350.....he had no problems controlling his weight

you guys just cant get past sullivan.....he is not sullivan....his work ethic has been proven

he pushes the pocket and creates opportunities for everyone else

Re: 2010 NFL Draft

guess what defense we ran in the most famous play in saints history....guess how many down linemen we had

NFL Videos: SB XLIV Can't-Miss Play: Porter seals it

now this video......we ran the 3-4 almost exclusively. 2 of the 4 plays we ran a 4-3 were at the goalline and 1 of the plays we ran it outside of the redzone they ran right up the middle.....right at our weakness

NFL Videos: SBXLIV: Joseph Addai highlights

and last but not least....guess how many times we ran a set with 4 down linemen in this highlight.....dont guess more than 1 cuz you'll be wrong

NFL Videos: SBXLIV: Peyton Manning highlights

SO WHY DID HE NOT STAY IN SHAPE TO BEGIN WITH...

AND LARGER PEOPLE CAN ADD AND DROP 10 POUNDS IN A WEEK; IT'S THE LAST TEN-FIFTEEN THAT ARE HARDER TO LOSE/KEEP OFF...

YOU WANT DIESEL; A GUY THAT MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY IS AS READY IN FEBRUARY AS HE IS IN NOVEMBER...

CODY WOULDN'T BE A R1 NOR A R2 PICK IF I'M A GM; HE DOESN'T HAVE THE GREAT BURST A 4-3 TACKLE NEEDS...

PLUS, WE JUST INVESTED A FEW PICKS IN THE VILMA TRADE; VILMA LEFT NYJ BECAUSE THEY SHIFTED TO A 3-4; YOU'RE NOW SAYING WE SHOULD GEAUX TO A 3-4 AS WELL...

I'm just sayin...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
