Re: The Brown/Bushrod debate

bushrod is terrible

with brown it would allow us to leave that side of the line almost completely unprotected. he could do it all by himself. bushrod needs help on nearly every single play and that takes away from the packages, the protection schemes and the routes that we can actually run

a TE and RB are always delayed on their routes with bushrod in because they need to chip block first before they go out on their routes

jermon bushrod isnt the run blocker and clearly isnt the pass blocker that brown is.

he hasnt held his own, he hasnt been above average and he certainly isnt underrated

its hard to imagine why anybody thinks he had a good season other than the fact that we won the super bowl. however, this season is not indicative of how bushrod played.

"deal with it or you can go play the saints and get trounced by 30 and you won't have to worry about it."-colin cowherd

Re: The Brown/Bushrod debate

if Brown was not hurt we could have had 4 out of 5 probowlers on the o-line

Re: The Brown/Bushrod debate

I will throw this into the debate.

Brown? Bushrod? Or if no uncapped year Julius Peppers as a trade?

He is clearly looking for a new home.

Difficult. Monster Ware smacked Bushrod but Bushrod is learning fast. Possibly with help, Bushrod did very well in the playoffs.

Re: The Brown/Bushrod debate

Brown is much better than Bushrod. If Bushrod can go somewhere else and get paid better then good luck. However, after saying that I have to say that if Brown had been starting I wonder if we would still be the World Champions? How many false starts or holding calls by Brown have stalled drives for us in the past? LT in my opinion could still be upgraded. Let's shop him around and see what we can get for Brown.

then again.....how many more points could we have scored because drew wasnt getting sacked? how many fewer times would drew have gotten hit?

Jammal Brown is three times the LT Bushrod is, and I'm being generous.
