In a statement on the NFL network he was mentioning the Saints fans and how the team is so important to them and is a part of their everday life.

"That's pretty special" were his exact words.

He never ceases to amaze me.

Do you people realize how fortunate we are to have a coach like Sean Payton? I've endured some pretty freakin nitwit Saints coaches over the years.
I hung in there and never really bashed on them during their tenure.

Well, except Ditka. I NEVER liked that douchetruck. My grandmother could have coached Walter P into the big show. Get a clue.

Anyway, our present coach makes me so proud. What a guy.
I guess the stark contrast between Sean and the other coaches
we've had is just... highlighted by Coach Paytons every word.

Who Dat got the best coach in the galaxy? You know who.

Thank that man every chance you get. We should do something for him as an online community. Actions are always far louder than wwwords.

I agree! He sometimes comes across as "brilliant" on the field, as well! I like him....a lot!

I agree. Brilliant is a great word to paint a picture of that man.

I'm constantly amazed.

There are not many coaches who will push the window in the manner Coach Payton does, time and time again.

He scares other coaches nearly as much as he ain't askeeert of NADA!

I watched him (& the other players) on TV during the parade & he was having so much fun!!

I can not remember a coach ever letting his hair down like that - it was a great sight & I think it shows us how much he & the players love the team & the city.
