Offseason conditioning and team unity

Last seasons off season programs had almost 100% participation. Do you expect this years off seasons training and weight lifting programs to have the same type of attendance? The team developed chemistry early. They were prepared and on the same page when they went to OTA's and training camp. Causation or correlation?

idk what causation and correlation mean

however, the attendance will probably be up seeing as how we are now world champs and fans will want to see our super bowl champs practice

Pretty sure Rugby is referring to the "team attendance" and not the fans.

But to answer your question: YES. Because every other team will be gunning for the Saints.

History is not on our side - We got there, but we'll need more effort, focus, conditioning, practice and heart as 2009 to stay there.

I'm guessing causation and correlation are both acceptable views.

Re: Offseason conditioning and team unity

This one was the most beautiful victory ever. The feeling and the thought that my Saints won it all, is still hitting home. But let's face it, next year is a new year. We'll have to line it up and do it again. Like 76 said, history has the SB winner falling off of a cliff. Do we want to be mid-pack next year or even worse? Conditioning and one of the best trainer corps in the league, got us through. We still had the injury bug knock us down, but we kept getting back up. This game has become highly scientific and we should stay at the forefront to try to maintain our #1 status. What happens on the field, happens first in the camp and in the locker room.
