Back from NOLA
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I know you guys have been talking about it already but I feel I need to say something about it too. Got back to London on Friday morning, caught up with some sleep and wondered if it all really happened. ...

Back from NOLA
I know you guys have been talking about it already but I feel I need to say something about it too. Got back to London on Friday morning, caught up with some sleep and wondered if it all really happened. So pleased that we went to New Orleans to watch the Superbowl and just couldn't believe it when we won. Heard some people say we didn't win but the Colts lost (again) but when you score 31 of the last 38 points, hold the Colts to 17 points and call the gutsiest play seen ever in a Superbowl, you have deserved it more than people will ever know. Every single one of those guys were magnificent and the most enduring memory of Drew Brees with little Baylen will be burned into my mind forever. After the game, Stand Up and Get Crunk came on so my wife stood up started dancing and, what shocked me and the people around us, knew all the words! She loves the song and I never knew just how much. Won't go on about Bourbon Street suffice it to say it was a little busy after the game. Next morning, ran up to Canal Street into Walgreens and CVS to get the Times-Picayune as we all know what happened after the NFC Championship win. Tuesday, lined up along Canal Street for 6 hours for the Parade and was hit in the face by a bunch of beads. Awesome! The words I have written cannot possibly describe how we felt or what we saw but I know all of you WhoDats out there know because I know you felt and saw it too. Glad to be in New Orleans? You bet your ass!

Good stuff Gup - was wondering how you enjoyed your trip...
A bunch of us were there as well and some of us actually got to meet up for a few before it got too crazy. What a great weekend. Yeah man, those beads come from all angles, don't they? LOL |

Wish I could have been there. Your post gave me chills. I actually think I've had them since the Vikings win.....and they just never go away. Reading these posts bring it all back. What a sweet, sweet year!
