Nah, I've never been to a Giants game. They moved over to At&t Park, on the Embarcadero years ago. VERY NICE facilities, right next to the Bart station, so you can get there really easy.

The first game I went to at the stick was Saints/49ers, back in 99. Great tailgating, and just a historic park all the way around. Some of the fans are bad, but overall, they are all pretty cool.

I lived out there in Mountain View for a while...I got to go to a few games. Had a cop pull 4 tickets from a scalper one time and pull up next to me and ask me if I was looking for tickets. After a long pause of wondering what he was up to, I finally answered, "Yeah, why?"

He says, "Cause I got 4."

Another long pause, and I'm like, "Well...how much do you want for them."

He says, "I'm not selling them...I'm giving them to you." For a second there, I thought I was about to go to jail.

Then the scalper walks by right as the cop drives away and says, "You should pay me for those...he got them from me."

I was like, "OK...got to go to the ATM first...wait right there."

I hope he didn't wait.

Whether you think you can or think you can't...you're right!

Mountain View huh? I've been to alot of concerts there. Saw Ozzfest twice, and most recently, I went to the Mayhem festival. Terrible sound there though.

Yeah, I used to drive right by At&t on my way to work, and the scalpers would literally come up to my window trying to sell me tickets. Either that, or ask for change.

Re: Suggestions for a good road game

cajun, I don't what city you live in.

I would say Dallas and Atlanta are good away game trips to go to if you are in LA.
Those teams are good. Those cities have lots of N.O. Saints fans living there and many fans leave from LA and go there for the away games.

San Francisco would be good, further away, but good to really make a mini vaca if you want.

I am 3 hours from Dallas and will check into that early for myself.
Why not?

Oh trust me Maid, there are officially ALOT of Saints fans in California now as well. The biggest bandwagon jumping state in the country! Especially Los Angeles, where they dont' have a team.

Re: Suggestions for a good road game

I trust you saintpaul.
No,I did not know CA and esp. L.A. had Saints fans even if they are bandwagon ones.
I know many New Orleanians left N.O.and LA to go live in CA during the 50's,60's.

I was thinking more along time and distance traveling for games.
It depends how far you want to go and how much time you have.

CA is just further away if you only have a weekend.

Re: Suggestions for a good road game

Thanks for the input everyone. One thing I forgot to factor in is that we don't exactly know which of these games may be Thursday or Monday night games which could make a big difference. I would love to go to a game in San Fransisco as I have never been to California, but that may be too far far the rest of my group. Oh and I live in Thibodaux, so Dallas would be a 10 hr or so drive I guess...not too bad.
