Drew Brees has been seen talking to David Letterman, Oprah Winfrey, and Ellen Degeneres.
He's also been the focus of multiple commercials.
Radio interviews have happened so many times that it is almost impossible to count.
After a fantastic victory parade through the streets of New Orleans with his teammates; Brees then reigned as the King of Bacchus during Mardi Gras.
Can the guy do any more then he already has since winning the Super Bowl and capturing the game's MVP? He sure can.
New Orleans Saints' quarterback Drew Brees is going to address the Loyola University of New Orleans graduating class of 2010 in the Superdome on Saturday, May 8.
It is rather appropriate actually that this is the class which Brees will be speaking to. This group of graduates began their education at Loyola back in 2006. That also happens to be the same year that Brees made New Orleans his team and his home after spending the first part of his career with the San Diego Chargers.
There are sure to be some touching moments throughout the graduation ceremony as it is almost a certainty that Brees will bring up Hurricane Katrina and all the torment and tragedy that came along with it. But he can also speak on the fact that both himself and these graduates came to New Orleans when it was at its lowest and all have persevered.
The entire press release was issued by the school detailing the class and Brees and it can be seen at Loyola University's website.
An excerpt from the release showcases a quote from Brees that he gave after winning the MVP in the Super Bowl.
"Four years ago, whoever thought this would be happening,” said Brees. “Eighty-five percent of the city was under water. People were evacuating to places all over the country. Most people left not knowing if New Orleans would ever come back, or if the organization would ever come back. We just all looked at one other and said, 'We are going to rebuild together. We are going to lean on each other.' That's what we've done the last four years and this is the culmination in all that belief."
