Mike Triplett, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports the New Orleans Saints have tendered restricted free-agent OT Zach Strief a second-round offer, according to his agent. The offer is a one-year deal worth $1.759 million.Source: </SPAN>KFFL.com

The Saints have extended a low restricted free agent tender to S Usama Young.
Young started one game in 2009 for an injured Darren Sharper. He also missed four with a sports hernia. Though Young should be safe from other teams trying to sign him at the low tender (it would cost a third-round pick), the move indicates that New Orleans doesn't see him as a future starter.
