Saints will turn it around !!

While this season hasn't started out like I would have hoped, if the Saints can beat the Colts we will be 2-2. To me, the main reason we have lost the games we have is because of the offense. Granted the defense hasn't been spectacular, but they have played respectful in every game. I, like many others, expected the offense to have to carry the defense through the first 4 or so games, but the offense has done nothing except put the defense in bad situations.

For the Saints to turn this around, the offense must get back to putting points on the board. I fully expect the offense to have a break out game soon. If that happens and the defense gets some of the injuried players back, I think this team will be in the hunt.

I think many have written this offense off, but I feel there is simply too much talent for that to continue to happen. Deuce will start rushing for a 100 plus yards and with the way Brooks has been throwing the ball this offense will be as good as any in the NFL. I aslo think with the addition of Conwell that it has added another dimension to this offense.

The season is young and I wouldn't be betting against this offense just yet !! It all starts with the Colts this Sunday ....

The Saints WILL WIN !!!

I\'m afraid of Indy and I\'m afraid of Carolina.

I like our chances against Chicago, but we even managed to lose to the Bengals last season.

I like our chances against a Vick-less Falcons, but then we have Carolina again.

Then Tampa leads us into the bye week.

Given the way we\'ve played so far (2 good quarters out of 12), I\'m being a crazy optimist to think we win 3 of them. Which 3, who knows? I\'d be shocked if we end up 4-5 going into the bye week, which doesn\'t mean our season is over by any stretch. But at the same time, I wouldn\'t be surprised to see us at 2-7 headed into the bye week (if we have 6 more games like last weekend).

All that to say, we could be in real trouble. If I hear any more about the talent, potential and whatever else this team should be, I\'m going to puke.

Billy I hear what your saying, the saints are 1-2 and that means 1 win away from .500, etc. etc. etc.

Have you only been reading the scores in the paper? The saints got their azz handed to them 2 out of 3 games so far. They have not done anything to show they know how to play football since the Tampa game last year. Thats 11 games the offense has not done squat.

Until they make some type of drastic move on offense it aint getting better. Contrary to what HAZ keeps saying \"it\'s a mistake here and a mistake there\", its a complete philosophical meltdown. Those don\'t change.

I wouldn\'t lie to you man. Keep your chin up. The Saints WILL beat the Colts on Sunday. Didn\'t your mama read you \"the little engine that could\"? Listen, the Saints might very well bite the dust this year. But, let me tell ya..... Things aren\'t always as they appear in the NFL. I know you guys wrote the Saints off before they played their first game but there\'s still room on the wagon for ya. Want me go scoot over?

Let me ask you a question....... What will be your opinion if the Saints beat the Colts. That goes for the rest of ya 2..... :P

If they beat the colts I \'ll say lets see them do it again. This season is not about every other game, its about coming to play every week.

Back at ya. What will your opinion be if they lose to the colts?

If they lose against the Colts I wil say that that they\'ve lost 3 games and then I\'ll be asking why y\'all want to give up on your team after 3 games. Right now I would like to know you gave up on \'em before they played the first game???

Its not about giving up on them. I did correctly foresee the problems this team has on offense though. Sorry, but I was given a good set of eyes and I use them.

This team can right the ship still but not with the plan in place right now. When HAZ comes out of denial and makes a change then they have a chance. This offense needs a jump start, something different to make the coaches and/or the players see things differently for at least one game. This team is stagnant and just saying they have to get better is not going to do it.

There\'s no doubt that the offense can put up the points. It\'s just a matter of when. It\'s gonna happen. Watch what I tell ya. Just reading what Haz has been saying, I think he understands that he\'s got to pull out all the stops. I think Indy is in for an azz whoopin\'

i agree with billy, the saints are gonna kick butt sunday nite, and if they don\'t, we have next sunday, i too am impressed with conwell, and the Beerman is just waiting to bust loose, although i do think the defense could have played a little bit better, the offense needs to click, and they wil, its just a matter of time.
