a fullback would be nice who could fill in at the goalline

hagan has pointed out dorin dickerson out of pittsburgh a few times....could also play TE if need be

heath evans has health questions now if he never had them before.....would be nice to have some insurance there

I hoped to see Heath Evans comeback heathy. I bet Pierre will be back too. Mike Bell gone.

Overall, even with the potential/probable loss of Bell, this group is very solid. Still would like for the Saints to find a guy who can do 25 carries per game, not saying he would but just need someone who can. This current group lacks some stamina.

I have to agree on drafting a powerback somewhere in the draft. After watching Beanie Wells have such a good rookie season last year, I wouldn't really be too upset, if we took a RB in the first round. First downs keep the defense off the field, and there were a few times last season, where having a hard hitting short yardage back in there would have helped. I might just still be missing Deuce though.

I read what you're writing; I'm not that impressed with Wells and yet I acknowledge he still had a quality, productive season in that offense...

So should our power backs (RB's not named Reggie Bush) be producing more in the Drew Brees-led offense?
