SAINTS TEAM UP WITH BEAU RIVAGE IN EFFORT TO PACK SUPERDOME
September 23, 2003
New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints today announced a partnership with Beau Rivage Resort in Biloxi, Miss., aimed at helping sell out the Superdome for Sunday's 7:30 p.m. game vs. the Indianapolis Colts to be played on national television. As part of the partnership, Beau Rivage has agreed to purchase 4,000 tickets to Sunday's game. That leaves the Saints with approximately 4,000 tickets to sell before the NFL enforces the local television blackout at the end of the business day on Thursday, Sept. 25.

"The Saints organization would like to thank Beau Rivage for their tremendous support as we look to try and fill the Superdome and show off New Orleans for Sunday night's nationally-televised game against Indianapolis," said Saints Executive Vice President of Administration Arnold D. Fielkow. "We are hoping to have more local and regional companies step up to help in similar fashion as we look to demonstrate to the country what we already know: That New Orleans has the best fans in the NFL."

The Saints have sold out 23 consecutive regular season and playoff games at the Superdome over the past four seasons and will look to push the streak to 24 vs. Indianapolis. If a sellout can be guaranteed by the end of the business day on Thursday, the Saints-Colts game will be televised nationally on ESPN, as well as locally on UPN 54.

Fielkow said the Saints are hoping to find eight other companies willing to make ticket purchases of 500 tickets at a discounted group rate of $58 per ticket. Interested parties may contact the Saints Marketing Department at (504) 731-1792.

Saints-Colts tickets are on sale now through the Saints ticket office in Metairie (504-731-1700) and at the Superdome ticket office. Box office hours are 8:30 am to 6 pm, Monday-Friday and 8:30 am to 1 pm on Saturdays. Single-game tickets may also be purchased through the Saints' web site at www.neworleanssaints.com, or through Ticketmaster at 800-877-0898 and www.ticketmaster.com.
