JR: Give me a couple of players that most people like me believe are first round picks that you think will slide.

Scout: Brian Price, the fat kid from UCLA. I’ll tell you what, Terrence Cody is in a lot better shape than that kid and he’s (Cody) comfortable with his size. Price will flash you the ability to get into the backfield, but watch him against good teams and he didn’t do sh**. I know a lot of people that think he’s going to be a big bust. Enough people that I think he’ll get humbled a little come draft day.

Terrence Cody playing at 350-360lbs is a player worth having for years.

Think Shaun Rogers without the loaded pistol.

I'd love to see us have him.

im tellin you guys. cody was the best player on the best defense and he played around 360. now that he has trimmed some weight off he will be quicker and a little more mobile

i said at the beginning of the season that i wanted mount cody. i stand by it as my #1 priority in the first round

at 32? niether. Trade back and get some picks then take cody...maybe. I really like Linval Joseph, East Carolina in the third. People have him as a 4/5 guy but I have trouble thinking he will last past the top of the fourth.

Cody scares the sh** out of me. I know he's always played heavy, but I can't stop thinking about Sully. Someone that big and young is bound to blow up. imho I just have no confidence in him at this point. We have a need at DT but so did we when we drafted Sully.(sheesh I just hate saying his name) I'm not against the pick......it just scares me.

This is exactly my fear too. As long as he is motivated he'll do a good job clogging the middle. But it feels like we've been here before. I'm afraid he gets a contract, plays a good first year and then comes in at 450lbs next year.
