1st off you didnt even see every game last year and your spouting off stats- this alone should discredit your argument
2ndly- bushrod was not the reason we won and i dont think there has ever been a superbowl or even a regular game at any level ever won my an OT.
3rdly- there is no point in talking to you if you dont think we would be a better team with haynesworth starting on the Dline. "he played 12 games last year"...so what!...the core players on our D were injured for at least 4 games.

Please tell me how the #1 offense in the league suffered from using bushrod. the man shut down some of the best DE in the league and gave up only 1 sack in the playoffs and superbowl to the D lines in the league

I'd just hate to see the guy come here. I know he's good but he's the TO of defensive linemen. Big name, big ego, questionable character. Find somebody else.

Re: Is there a possibility of trading Brown for Haynesworth?

I think the point to be made here is, that the Saints are an offensive team first. And you don't get better by subtracting a pro bowl OT. Let's say we made that trade, and Brown was gone, giving Bushrod the start. What do we do if he goes down for the season? You said bring in Flozell. Let's compare the ages of Adams, and Brown. That's NOT a good idea.

We have enough picks in the upcoming draft, to get a DT, that will complement Ellis, Smith, Brown, and McCray, without trading anyone.

He he tempers..if Haynesworth were to come via a trade for Brown ..everyone of you would be jumping for joy and saying repeat...lol...dont lie..he is this and that till he becomes a Saint then he's the best thing since sliced boudin...I dont want to lose brown either..but we did win the superbowl with Bushrod...and our D needs improving more than our Offense..Right?...carry on

Hey i could handle that to...but you have to remember Brown has bad knees..so i would dump him before i gave up to players..that can start.

yea.....my bad about having a tiny life outside of the saints

but if you must know....i did end up seeing all of the games on NFL replay because the ones i missed were the redskins, dolphins, giants, and i cant remember the other one but they were all replayed on NFL replay

i just think its funny when people say "you must not have watched the games" or "what games were you watching"

obviously we all watched the games......the same ones

2ndly- bushrod was not the reason we won and i dont think there has ever been a superbowl or even a regular game at any level ever won my an OT.
so why is the only argument anybody ever uses in support of bushrod the one that we won the super bowl with him? if he didnt win it for us then why does it matter? is it because we didnt have brown? guess what......the giants thought they were better without shockey too but that was BS

you dont get better without your best player and bushrod was NOT servicable....hes a fine backup with starting experience now....but nothing more

3rdly- there is no point in talking to you if you dont think we would be a better team with haynesworth starting on the Dline. "he played 12 games last year"...so what!...the core players on our D were injured for at least 4 games.
first off.....i didnt say we wouldnt be better with haynesworth

secondly....nobody is forcing you to talk to me

Re: Is there a possibility of trading Brown for Haynesworth?

now i could only find a handful of highlights after clicking on only 3 games but im sure you get the idea

if i wanted to find more....do you think i would have trouble?

why is there only highlights of defensive players beating up bushrod and not the rest of our line?

i would show you more videos of bushrod screwing up but since his guy didnt make the play it really doesnt matter if he screwed up or not......click on just about any highlight video of any game and you will see bushrod screw up......and thats just in 5 minute clips....imagine how it projected out the rest of the game

i know you think bushrod did well but he didnt and anytime somebody says he did, shows me how many people actually pay attention to the positions in question
