a possible reason Sharper is still available is that the final 8 teams have not been able to sign him- they are in the same boat as us with FA's: lose one, sign one
the Jets are looking at Taylor (and Brunnell) but can only sign one before this deadline. |

This is not a normal year.
Any other year Sharper would've been signed already. |
