After watching last nights LSU game, watching LSU's defense it looks like Venturi could take a few lesson from that defense. Attack, attack,attack, man I like that.

I disagree. I don\'t think you need a bunch of elite players to play an attacking style of defense. I think a good defensive coordinator can mix it up enough to really confuse what an offense wants to do. While we might not be able to blitz on every play, we can attack much more than what we have in the first 3 games.

This defense needs to try to dictate to the opposing teams offense what they can do, rather than the other way around. Offenses love when they can excute a game plan without having to deviate from their strategy. One things for sure !! Venturi will never know how successful an attaking style defense will be, unless he tries it !!

The personnel , or lack of, is exactly why we need to attack. With 2nd and 3rd string players out there you need to give an offense less time to pick you apart. God knows, even if they get burned, it\'s not a lot worse than is happening now.

i never said you need elite players to attack

what i was saying was that if we attack we will get burned, and you are right joe that\'s pretty much what is happening now

but if ambrose can\'t cover one guy what makes you think he\'ll be able to pick up a bigger zone when you send the blitz?

Hopefully, having Victor Green back there will give more pass support. Right now I think everything is pretty much hopefull, not much reality.

After seeing what Tennessee did to Pittsburg today, it makes me feel a little better about our defense. We\'ve lost to two quality ball clubs.

Tonight we beat a good team !!!
