Saints have signed DE Jimmy Wilkerson to a one-year deal. Nice move for another veteran fee agent for their rotation.

I really like this move. The Saints have experienced a great deal of success recently by picking up these veterans coming off injuries for bargain basement prices. This frees up the draft for filling the OLB and DT needs in the early rounds.

Saints sign former Bucs DE Jimmy Wilkerson -- 1 yr, $2M. He wanted a 1 year deal so he could bounce back from ACL then hit the market next year.

How could he pass a physical? I thought he tore his ACL during the Dec 27th game against the Saints.

Quality rotational player that hopefully will make an impact. I'm ready for a disruptive DT.....maybe in the draft or possibly a trade.

Good sign. Solid player to add to the rotation. We could still draft a DE for some youth into the position if the right person is there, but I agree that it seems we are certainly leveraging our position for BPA.
