Which Game Has You Most Exicted?
 

The Minnesota Season Opener or the Thanksgiving Day/Dallas Game?

I realize that both games have their appeal but which one appeals the most?

We are NOT replaying the NFC Championship game! We won that and it's in the books. We are just opening the season with the vikings.

Thanksgiving Day. I can't remember the last time I actually looked forward to a game on Turkey Day. I love football, but the games have been rather blah for quite a while now. I think the last game that I may have actually enjoyed was the Dolphins/Cowboys game when Leon Lett had his incredible brain fart that eventually led the Dolphins to the win. This year is a different story, because I can have a great meal and watch our boys play. I may want to wait until after the game to eat, because I don't want that L-tryptophan putting me to sleep during it.

The queens game, it is opening day, so it is the excitement of opening day and the SB Champs banner being hung (with the added pleasure of having the queens witness it), but beyond that ...

... the Thanksgiving Day game, got mixed feelings about it:
Always glad to see the Saints play nationally-televised games, but they only get 4 days rest before playing the Pukes, although they play Seattle before going to Dallas, and have 10 days to get ready for Cincinnati...

.. guess I have to say, the Queen's game appeals more to me because it is opening day and the SB champions banner gets hung, with the added benefit the Queens and their fans witnessing the hanging of the banner :)

oh we DEFINATELY owe the cowgirls something special. i will never forget the feeling i had when i left the dome after the loss to dallas last year. i think id rather take a sweep from atl before i take another loss to dallas. its that serious. yeah, i may get bashed for that because atl is our division rival, but i hate dallas more than i hate anything else on the planet earth. let the thrashing begin :violin:

Thanksgiving day we owe them for ending our undefeated streak and what a way to do it than on turkey day and take the superbowl trophy in there own house

I voted for the Dallas/Thanksgiving game. However, there will be a lot of hype about the Minnisooooooota game, and we will all be pumped up by the time the season starts. Other than the Dallas game, I don't see a game that stands out as a pivital game of the season, like the Pats game was last season. IMO, that was the defining game last year and Dallas will be it this year.
