What's the status of Pierre Thomas

They made it sound like a contract agreement was imminent early last week and that's the last I've heard about it. Is anything going on? Does anyone know how much difference there is between what they're asking and what we're offering?

Apparently, that was bogus news from the media because they came back later and said that neither side could verify that there were even any talks currently going on between the two sides. It's still a wait and see subject for now as far as I can tell. Just need to be patient I guess...

Don't sweat it! The Saints will sign PT to a long-term deal. He is too valuable to what Sean Payton wants to do offensively to let him get away. Although he has not signed his tender, he will participate in any team activities that free agents are allowed to participate in. Of course, a player has to be under contract to participate in training camp.

Lance Moore will also eventually sign his tender. I'm just not sure whether or not Lance is in the Saints' long-term plans.

Thanks for following up poydras I was wondering the same. I guess we will have to wait and see, but I feel a deal is imminent.
