Maybe they are using the money that they were SUPPOSED to use, to build the new Bay Bridge, because no one seems to know what happened to it....

This reminds me of a statement I made that my friends still tease me about to this day. It was probably as far back as around the time that Dempsey nailed the 63 yarder that I was sitting in the den of a friend's house looking at an article in SI showing the different stadiums around the country. While looking at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, (and I don't even know if it is still there) I made this statement. I said, "If they put a dome on Busch stadium, they would have a domed stadium." Made sense to me.

November might be a little too cold. Bump that up to October, and you're on to something. Schedule it for LSU's off week and repaint the field with Black over the purple and Gold over the yellow/gold. Keep the 5 yard-line numerals. Giant fleur-delis at mid field and fill it with 90,000 screaming Who Dats. Let LSU's school band perform like it's a normal Saturday night. Then throw in a sacrificial victim (Tampa, St Louis, half of the AFC West)...
