I'm 49ers2beat a admin at the NFLfans.com site and I wanted to see what your take is on Sundays game what do you think your team needs to do to win????

The saints have to establish the running game. I think our offensive line will handle the defensive line of SF. Duece will have a big game and that will open up the passing game. I heard Stokes might not play so a double team on Owens should be all day. Blitz Garcia but the defense has to stay in their lanes and be patient. Hit Garcia get him out of rythme and its a victory for New Orleans

I agree with you Whodat. Give the Niners a double dose of Deuce. Get Horn and Pathon into the mix early and often. With a pinch of Boo. And last but certainly not least, Knock T.O. into the middle of next week. Put the Heavy Lunch bunch into their back feild and leave them there.Let them gnaw on Garcia leg for a while. Go Saints

The Saints need to contain the 49er running game and I don\'t believe the 49ers will be able to win a shoot out with the Saints. I don\'t believe the 49er offense is as cracked up as the Saints offense. 49ers will score but maybe not enough.

I think from what Ive seen the last two games the Saints need to find a way to stop the screen pass first the Steelers got alot of big plays of that play and the Redskins got 2 TD\'s of like 50 yards or more of the screen play so I think thay need to look at that.

I think the Saints are a better team today. The 49ers are always tough and will play tough against an old rival. But when you examine the 3 phases of the game (offense, defense and special teams) the Saints are better in each area. What will determine the outcome is the Saints ability to exploit SF\'s weaknesses and injuries and the Saints ability to protect its injury plagued secondary. Special teams may be a huge factor with the 49ers hurting on special teams and the Saints special teams beginning to assert itself. If the 49ers are unable to control or contain Michael Lewis and the Saints offense gets to play on a short field for a good part of this contest it wil be a long day for the 49ers who will be without their special teams captain.

I think the Saints will win. It may be a shootout.
