Crazy! I just have one question...and I'm serious, 'cause I really don't know the answer.

What would be more dangerous, flying in a jet and pulling 9 G's or playing in a pick-up basketball game...which I believe is against the rules?

I see where you are going with this, and I would tend to agree with you. Looking at this comparison a bit closer, I can see why playing another sport would be against the rules, but flying in a jet wouldn't be. In a pick-up basketball game, people tend to get physical and increases the risk of injury. A player could blow out a knee, break an ankle, etc., etc. Being a passenger in a jet with an experienced pilot where the chances of things going wrong are extremely slim would seem to be more acceptable. Granted, if something does go wrong in a jet, it's very likely that a timetable for return from injury would be needed...it would be a timetable on when the funeral will take place.

This song was dedicated to the late Randy Rhoads..who died of all things in a plane crash...

According to the video, they did 5 9G pulls. My concern was with regard to what the effect pulling 9 G's has on the body, so I did a little research. I found this article...

How Many G's Are You Pulling And How Much Can Your Body Take? - The Fun Times Guide

Notice the video within that shows the guy passing out at 7.5 G's. Are you sure playing pick-up basketball is more dangerous?

Re: Super High Flying Brees!

I didn't say it was more dangerous. I just said that there was a greater chance at injury. Brees has flown in jets before, so I'm sure he was briefed by the pilots or personnel on the techniques to use to prevent passing out and keeping blood flow stabilized. I wouldn't think they would just throw him in as a passenger and say to him "Have fun". Now if something did happen to him physically, I would see where it would be more of an issue with the team.
