Do injured rookies lose or gain an advantage?

Our two Wake Forrest boys missed the whole year on IR. They have spent a year in the system but does that offset the year of lost training time? Do they have an edge over the competition at training camp? Vaughn and Arneaux were both hurt before we saw what they could do last year. Are they at disadvantage because of their time away from football or better because they understand GW's system?
