How we'd all be here wondering if we'd make the playoffs, or if we'd have a good season? Or maybe like last "off-season", worrying about the starcaps issues and suspensions and how we'd do w/o those guys in the 1st four games?
My whole thing last season was that if we made the playoffs, we'd go deep into them after being battle tested by playing both the NFC & AFC east divisions.
As it turned out we went the deepest of all, and this entire "off-season" has been a dream come true. People still have trouble saying Superbowl champions and Saints in the same sentence. Not that they aren't happy for us, they are, it was just something many never thought would happen.
I'm still watching my videos of last season, I have 7 games on dvd and I still can't get enough of the NE game, the AZ. game and the Superbowl itself. I also have Miami, Minn., Wash. & the Falcons in N.O., which while good don't thrill me like those other ones.
Anyway, this is just a feel good post and I"m chomping at the bit for our opening nite game against Mn. I hope Bobby McCray knocks Brett into OBLIVION!!!

It is sooo nice, we have not had to say "maybe next year", or "I think this might be our year", or any of that crap. I am still celebrating our win by participating on this forum, I still wear my Saints gear to work every Friday, I am still watching my games on DVD and Blu-Ray, I watch ESPN and NFLN for any snippit of news about our Saints. I am truly enjoying this offseason. Hell, it's 4:00 in the morning, and I'm laying on the couch typing this on my phone instead of sleeping. How's that for dedication.
