I'd take Cody over Woods in a second. I'm still not sure why we traded up for Woods when Cam Thomas would have been available at 4/32. There's a good chance he's going to start in San Diego.

You're missing the point. I'm sure if Cody was around in the 4th, that would have been a good value. However, some people wanted to draft him in the first round.

And no offense, but I'm going to give the Super Bowl champions the benefit of the doubt over some yahoo on the draft choices, especially considering how well they've done in years past with their scouting.

At this point all of the draft is mute. No one's draft has worked out for them yet. I know its early and everyones ready to get it on, but this may be his wake up call from his coaching staff. BIG is just one piece of a puzzle that includes agility, strength, conditioning, strategy, technique, execution and many other things. His lapse in focus in one area may/can affect his ability to accomplish in other areas. All of the green 300+ pound rookies are going to have to keep an eye on the tonage monitor, including our heavy weights. I'm with TheDuece in hoping our guys saw his body mass index and passed on him. We need 60+ minutes and not 3 1/2 quarters of football. I hope he's still running laps...and remembers this his whole career. I hope others see this and take note. Can you imagine how ugly this would get if he went out and collapsed next week? His wife, his kids, his momma and everyone else would be trying to get a court date. Let him come back when he's ready to play in the NFL.

If he collasped it would be from poor conditioning....which falls on him...your paid to play not eat and lay on the sofa...

I know Cody wasn't available in the 4th. I'm disappointed that we didn't draft Cam Thomas. Of course, I have to give the Saints front office all of the credit in the world and they've certainly earned the benefit of the doubt.
