Saints top pick shows up to Training camp EARLIER THAN EXPECTED AND IMPRESSES!

The Saints number one draft pick, Patrick Robinson has arrived in camp earlier than expected. The defensive back took the field this morning and knocked down the first pass sent his way, drawing a roar from the crowd.

Robinson wasn't expected in training camp until this afternoon after agreeing to contract terms last night. He seemed to surprise the fans.

"He kind of just walked out here unnoticed," WWL's Kristian Garic reported. "All of a sudden they realized and they gave him a big round of applause when he broke up the pass play on the very first rep he participated in during training camp."

"It was certainly a promising start for the number one draft pick. On the second pass his way, he broke that one up as well," WWL's Saints sideline reporter said. "So, you can certainly see his speed and why he was the number one pick of the Saints."

Jenkins hold out hurt him last year and Robinson must want a better start.

Gotta love the guys committment, I have good faith that pat will be good in Gregg's system. Really promising to see that his first couple of snaps he had, went in his favour. Keep it up Pat!!!

I'm excited to see this kid on the field, he's so quick. It's amazing how quickly this team has become one of the best secondary units in the league after having one of the worst for years.
