Elway played for what, 15 years. For Drew Brees to retire after 15 years, that would give him 6 more good years to play. Elway's last game was as Superbowl MVP. That's the way Brees' HOF career will end in 5,6 or 7 years from now.

Brees may play until he's about 40... assuming he suffers no major injuries.

I'd say he'll play for another six years. Then five years after he retires, he'll be on the first ballot for his HOF induction and Becky will be making the drive to Canton to watch him be enshrined!

Then, in about 20 years, we'll be seeing Baylen and Baby-to-be Brees tossing footballs around just like their pops did!

Oh, and winning back-to-back Super Bowls for their respective teams!

I hate to say it but I think hes gonna get a career ending injury this year. We just are not that lucky.

I think it would take him losing a limb to end his career at this point...he'll be around for a while, and I suspect that he is one of those kind of guys who will play injured and sometimes we might not even know.
