Just to play devil\'s advocate here, do you think Joe would be as passionate about playing if, say, he made $30,000 a year? How about paying out money to play? Now times that about 25 years and then you can say who has a say. I think fans have a right to express their emotions as long as it doesn\'t physically harm anyone. If that means wearing a whistle on your head or a bag. How dare Mr. Horn talk about fans disrespecting him! Try walking into a sports bar or down the street anywhere besides the State of Louisiana as a diehard Saints fan and then we\'ll talk disrespect. At least he gets payed handsomely for having to hear or see a little ridicule, most of the time I\'ve just spent another $25-$30 bucks to be made fun of and be taunted.

The NFL needs the fans, the fans do not need the NFL (no matter how devoted). That\'s like saying that after spending $10 on a movie ticket, another $20 on popcorn and coke, having to deal with every ******* with a cellphone, that I am not allowed to leave 10 minutes in because the movie sucked and demand my money back. Pshhhhh.

I agree with Whodat. Listen, season tickets are a 10 game investment. If the only way for some of us to get through these horrible games is to have a little levity then so be it. I think Joe Horn needs to take that energy and tell his teammates who aren\'t producing, \"Hey look at those fans, they are embarrassed to show their faces because of how bad we play. WE HAVE TO MAKE THEM PROUD TO BE A SAINTS FAN\"!! Anyone who watched that Colts game and didn\'t want a bag on their head is either on crack or DEAD!

Let me put it this way. I have never gone to a place in my life to when I was so ashamed that I had go wear a bag over my head. And guess what? If I had ever gone to a place like that-- I wouldn\'t ever go back !!

Do you keep going to a resturant that you are ashamed of? Maybe you get bad service and you go in there with a bag on your head, so no one will know who you are? I suggest if it\'s that bad that you find another resturant!! The bag heads could always sell their tickets to someone else. God forbid someone finds out they are a Saints fan.

Well said, there are more fans that feel this way than even we know. We see and hear the ones who come in here and post. God knows how many come in, read and don\'t say a thing because of fear of ridicule by other members. I\'m a big Joe Horn fan but sometime he needs to talk to his teammates and not the fans. After all we can quit going to the games, they can\'t. What happens to that big contract then?

If anyone is scared to come in here and post because they are scared? Well, heaven help us all !! Probably the same people who don\'t have a job becasue they are scared their boss might yell at them.

If it bothers someone to be made fun of because you are a Saints fan, you have 30 other choices out there. The Colts and Panthers are looking good this year. Try one of them.

I guess I just have a problem with someone who wears a bag when the team is playing poorly and is a proud fan when they are winning. Call me a die hard Saints fan, because you will never be able to call me a bag head....

I think Joe has it wrong , it isn\'t that the fans don\'t love them win or lose, they are just simply voicing their displeasure. If your child does something wrong , you don\'t hate your child, you hate the action. If the fans weren\'t going to the games period that would tell me that they are not fans, however if they want to wear bags WTF, wear bags. Joe need to shut his pie hole......and catch the football.

Just so all you will know. I would never be a Bag wearer. I want them to see how pissed off I am, and who I am. I hope they dream about my face every night when they try to sleep. God knows,(not you BillyC) i\'ve lost enough sleep over this team in the past years.
