Lynell Hamilton done for the year (pg.3 update)

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Perhaps Jamal Lewis off that list if push come to shove, Fargas already signed with Denver. But I'm with Pherein, I think we'll be fine with our current guys....

Time to bring Jamal Lewis in to see what he can do. i'd think he still has one good year left.

Oh they'll definitely sign a veteran RB now.

re: Lynell Hamilton done for the year (pg.3 update)

A Wednesday MRI confirmed that Saints RB Lynell Hamilton suffered a torn ACL at this morning's practice.

He's out for the year. The 2010 season is setting up very well for Pierre Thomas, who now has only marginal talents P.J. Hill and Chris Ivory to fend off for goal-line carries. Short-yardage backs won't be hard to find after final cuts, but anyone acquired in September will take time to learn the offense. Thomas should open the year as New Orleans' top option in the red zone. Aug. 11 - 4:31 pm et

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

All little common sense goes a long way.

There's not a name on that list that could come into camp and help this team this season. The Saints should just stick with what they have already

Herb Donaldson may be available after final cuts. He's pretty familiar with our offense.

A nice nugget of info I'll be sure to hide from everyone in my fantasy league.
