New Orleans Saints notes: Adrian Arrington feeling pressure to return

Adrian Arrington is aware of the adage: You can't make the club from the tub.

New Orleans Saints receiver Adrian Arrington makes a one-handed catch while working with a trainer on the sidelines at practice Sunday morning.
That's why the third-year New Orleans Saints receiver is pushing himself to get back on the field as soon as possible.
Arrington, who sprained his shoulder during Thursday night's 27-24 exhibition-opening loss at New England, sat out of practice Sunday. But he plans to be back on the field Monday.
"I feel that type of pressure (to get on the field) every day, " Arrington said. "In order to make a team, any team, you got to be out there on the field, you got to show the coaches what you can contribute. So there is always that pressure. Hopefully I'll be back out there (today)."

His absence comes on the heels of perhaps the best game of his short professional career, a four-catch, 87-yard performance.

Time to build on it.

Because you can't make the Club, if your butt is in the tub.

I dont have a clue why the Saints continue to keep Arrington around for as long as they have. He has been on some injury list or another since his career started with the Saints. It blows my mind,,,i see Coach cutting players at a tip of a hat but come to this guy..its different. HHmmmm....very intriguing..nontheless..Arrington's time has come to shine or fade. We shall see.

Arrington is exceptionally talented, that is why he is still in the mix. I do believe his time with the Saints has run out, he is not going to bump any of the top four and will not grab the five or possible six spot from Roby or Harper. The only things Arrington can hope for is an injury to one of the WR's, or to play exceptionally well in the next game with the hope of a new team wanting his services.
