Im so glad Brees is trying to clear the air on that cheap shot noise, yes Favre too some harder than normal hits and an abnormal amount of hits that does not constitute cheap shots, if players see an opportunity they are told to take it and do it within the realms of not getting flagged for it, the hits were watched extremely closely because of the Cardinals game where Saints were also pretty abusive on poor Kurt, the league had all eyes targeted on Saints Defense way before the game started, thats all they talked about was Gregg Williams elaborating on hitting Brett Favre and to keep hitting him, then when the game starts and he gets hit, nothing is blown, flagged or penalized yet Hero Favre gets whine fest from fans and league media takes action and defend the whine masses AKA Viqueens.. GIVE ME A FREAKIN BREAK!
Brett made a disgusting, low down illegal! cheap I've noticed a trend around the NFL sports news where Hero Brett Favre is getting sympathetic for the hits he took in the NFC Championship game, IT'S FOOTBALL! GUYS GET HIT!!
The Saints were not penalized for any cheap shots, if there were cheap shots they would have been flagged. It's disgusting and sad to see the media take this and run with it.. But no one's talking about Brett Favre's Dirty low-down cheap Crack-back block on Texans Eugene Wilson! Talk about that one!

Tell that to the droves of Viqueens fans still whining and b*tching about how we "abused" their precious quarterback.

Viking fans are a bunch of head cases. Wining and complaining, they are doing nothing more than offering before-the-fact excuses for their next loss to the improved Saints defense in the Dome.

This year will be a tough one for Favre and the Vikings. Teams now know how to beat the Vikings -- put a lot of helmets on Brett Favre. The media will have a feeding frenzy as Brett the Almighty wears down under the pressure of constant pounding. Legal pounding.
