The Houston Texans outshined the New Orleans Saints during their afternoon practice session in the indoor facility Wednesday.
Michael DeMocker/The Times-Picayune New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and the offense had a tough go of it in the afternoon practice against the Houston Texans on Wednesday. Houston's first-string offense cruised 60 yards down the field against the Saints' first-string defense for a touchdown during a two-minute drill - even without top receiving targets, receiver Andre Johnson and tight end Owen Daniels on the field. Quarterback Matt Schaub completed a series of mid-range passes before hitting tight end Joel Dreessen for a 4-yard touchdown pass. Dreessen got open in the back of the end zone past linebacker Jonathan Vilma after Schaub had tons of time to throw. read the rest here |
