Nicks back with Saints' first-team offense
 

METAIRIE, La. ― Carl Nicks was back working with the first-team offense Wednesday afternoon after a brief one-practice demotion to the second-team unit.
Still, the guard was left in shock following the morning practice.

“I don’t really want to get into how they let me know that,” Nicks said. “I’d rather keep it in.”

Terrence Metcalf, on offseason pickup, worked with the first-team for the Saints’ morning practice with the Houston Texans.

Yeah that fire can burn ones butt.

We can't continue drives with a lot of penalties. I'm hoping it lights a fire under him. We can't have false starts. They are drive killers. Fix it now coach.
