Doesn't it just get you all pumped up and ready for the game when you see the New Orleans Saints crowd around one another, Drew Brees gather in the middle of them, and lead them in the chant to get ready for the game?

Well journey back to the days of high school and college as Sean Payton and Drew Brees host a pep rally on September 4 at Champions Square. Not only will coach Payton and Brees be there to lead it, but special appearances by more than thirty Saints players will be on hand for all the festivities. Mascots and the Saintsations will also be present to celebrate, post for pictures, and sign autographs.

In a single word...no.

In a bunch of words...

I don't like it because it appears "bush league" to me and I feel embarrassed for Drew (and myself, for some reason), and I prefer that he leads by example, which he already does...and leave the cheering to the Saintsations. It's just one guys opinion, though, and if you are one of the many who enjoys it, then you probably have a lot of entertainment in your future, because I'm sure that he will keep being the "head cheerleader". I think this year he's gonna switch to a new cheer. Inside info has it that this year he's gonna be chanting...'

Drew: Big banny rooster said to little banny hen...(rest of team says "what?")

Drew: We ain't been beat since 1910...(rest of team says "when?")

Drew: So ruffle up your feathers...(rest of team says "where?)

Drew: And stick out your tail...(rest of team sticks out their tail...and says "how?")

Drew: Come on Saints, give 'em hell (rest of team hollers and rallies around Drew)

Side note: It was funny when my daughter did this cheer when she was about 5, and said, "we ain't been beat since nineteen-sixty-ten."

Whether you think you can or think you can't...you're right!

Any idea what the schedule is for the day? I know it runs from Noon-10. Specifically:

When does Payton go on?
When does Rebirth start?
