Not Kidding- Favre might get knocked out tonight

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Says who? You, the Saint fan? Look, Favre had the best season he's ever had statisically last year. He was so close to getting to the Super Bowl. Why not give it one more shot? Because YOU want him to ...

Says who? You, the Saint fan?

Look, Favre had the best season he's ever had statisically last year. He was so close to getting to the Super Bowl. Why not give it one more shot? Because YOU want him to retire? If you were a fan of the NFL, you'd realize that Favre is good for the NFL. Whether he does good or bad. He draws people's interest (good or negative). And thus, people will want to either watch him succeed or fail. He's earned the right to decide when he wants to retire.

And as a Viking fan, I have NO problem with him coming in the way he did...last year or this. Because I know this team is better off with him. And if he want's to play, let him play. And trust me, as I stated...this is a business and Zygi is going to make more money with Favre (when we are desperately seeking a new stadium) than Favre will make this year. Guarenteed.

Ok Vikes. I see your point there.
Like others here said, well, I sort of feel sorry for him too.
Time will tell.

Maybe you never read my other posts about Farve. He has done it. He has had a great career. He needs to leave the game before his senses leave him. What I mean by "his greediness" is not about money. He already has tens of millions. I mean that it is greedy of him to want to continue to play this sport. To add numbers to his already great career. He should leave on a high note instead of leaving perhaps hurt or midseason.
He just rejoined the team a few weeks ago. He was not with the team in all of camp or most of it as he making your team await for his drama, his decision. He is off now for his first grandchilds' Christening.
Retire. Count his tens of millions. Enjoy that grandchild. Read and realize his career record.
This is just silly of this guy trying to continue to do this career and harm his body.
