Was it just me . . .

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; or did Farve really look his age last night? He looked very old and tired even in the pre-game interview. Given he has no mobility it lloked his fire is barely flickering. Maybe it was just me, I don't know!...

I agree. He had moments, where he looked like his old self. Then he had other moments, where he just looked like an "old self."

I don't think he looked old, I think he looked confused. That being said, he usually looks that way, so maybe he was old.

Remember Favre missed all of training camp and is not in game shape. In my opinion his injuries will restrict him during the season. For The Vikings however he is the key to their offense, it's like us without Brees.

I think he looked scared for starters and that he really didn't want to be there.

I don't think he makes it thru the season.

I'm with you Euph. I told my wife last night that Brett Favre is scared. He does not want to get hit. You can see it in his eyes, and you can see it in the way he was playing. He was getting the ball out of his hands very quickly hence all the running plays early. Brett Favre will not last the season. He has lost his edge and I think he realizes he has made a mistake. It's gonna suck to be him this year, because it's going to be a long season.
