New Orleans not looking so small market anymore, it's starting to be the prized city of the South now, keep it up New Orleans!
I can foresee sooner or later New Orleans having International News stations relocating there and large Media studio's if it stays on the path it's in and continue to draw in large numbers to anything with the mention " New Orleans ".
It would be nice if the Job market there was better and crime was lower, damn i would move back in a second!

Agree
The more times Saints are on primetimeand they are many times this year, the higher the ratings, the more the networks are pleased. More money. Advertising costs.

I would say that based on the amount of media coverage that Favre has been getting over the last couple of years that it is possible that a couple of those viewers were tuning in to watch the Vikings...but, hey...what do I know?

Yeah but who were all of those 60+ million viewers watching during the reopening of the Superdome in our Crushing of the Atlanta/New Orleans game in 2006?
And Atlanta has a very horrible track record as a sports city so i wont buy half of their population was tuning in which gave it the bump lol.

If the NFL opening game had a bigger viewing in New Orleans than the Superbowl, I have this parcel of land called Texas I'd like to sell you...

If anything, this just geauxs to show that the Nielson Ratings are worth $#*!

Largest "regular" season game audience, not largest football game audience.. Superbowls are in a league of their own.
