2010 Season Week one down.... And I am loving it

Somewhere in the last two years I went from the diehard Saints fan who watched every Saints game possible, to an NFL Football fan that watches every game he can (well except Dallas), listens to NFL Sirius in my car, and reads NFL news, reports on the internet.... I am thankful for this transformation because with out it... this week would have not been so glorious..

Why this week was so damned good..:
  • Saints beat the Vikings. Put an end to all the crying from Minnesota about they are/were the better team. (I got this one out of the way first)
Now for the rest..

  • Arian Foster putting down 231 rushing yards against Indy... Do not recignize his name? Well thats because he is only in his second season... Signed in 2009 with Houston as an undrafted free agent and had a total of 257 yards rushing all last year. That was pure humiliation for the "sweethearts" of the media.. Most of all it proves my point, Manning alone does not a team make....
  • The following teams that have been Picked to go to the Super Bowl this season by the media idiots, not because they are better but because New Orleans won the Super Bowl last year... Watching the following teams LOOSE to who they lost to to open their season was beautiful...
    • Dallas fell to Washington... Of course this had to be listed first.. F-U Dallas! Jerry ... You can buy players but not a TEAM.
    • Jets got beat by Baltimore... Now maybe Rex Ryan will sit down and shut the F up. I am soooooo tired of hearing about the Jets. Rex Ryan is just under Favre for needing Media Attention.
    • Cincinnati falling to NE... A fitting loss for OC, TO, and PMJ.... Fitting loss to a group that has a complete lack of Class.
    • San Diego getting beat by KC... Not all too wonderful, but SD has been touted as going to the SB this year also...Philip who?
    • While Green Bay beat Phili.... they squeaked it by and that was good enough for me... NO Aaron Rodgers is not the same caliber Quarterback as Drew Brese.
Hats off to Arizona for 7 (SEVEN) fumbles to start this season LOL They get the Team Stickem award this week.

Arizona and St. Louis together had a total of 9 fumbles in one game.. That is outstanding guys... The NFL has decided to no longer require any coin toss next time you two teams meet.... We will just make it jump ball since that is what you guys prefer....

Second place goes to Detroit and Chicago for 7 fumbles in one game.... Keep working.. You will get there.

Interesting Week 1 Stat
16 Games......53 fumbles 3.3125 fumbles per game... Come on, you guys are funny...

BTW... Detroit won that game.. That was a Touch Down anyway you look at it.... Also, saying the Saints can not repeat because that is "hard to do" is a statement an idiot would make... This is a new season, it has nothing to do with what they did last year, it has to do with how good they are this season compared to the rest of the teams plus either a "little luck", or a lack of "bad luck"...

Thanks for your time... See you after Week 2.

Week one should come as a warning. All the teams that were picked to be in the Super Bowl, that had to play on the road, lost to inferior teams. I hope everyone has quit celebrating our Thursday night victory and is paying attention to having to go on the road to play the 49ers.

Coach Payton and Brees don't really become unfocused from what I can tell.
The next game is the most important game in the world seems to be thier mindset.

The Saints are in good hands. Believe. Have faith. Those words have extra meaning now. Two dat.

Yes, the Saints do have that mindset, and it will be important to keep it if we're going to have continued success (and I believe we will).
