Q: We talked to Jake last time before the game. How is your team feeling right now?

A: "Things are going right up until last week. We had a loss. Things like that happen in the NFL. It kind of gets you back on track."

Q: How do you anticipate playing the Saints this time? I would imagine you guys would try to duplicate the formula of last time.

A: "We know they're going to have some things different for us, but the thing we got to be able to do is adjust on what they're trying to do. We just got to keep trying to do what we do and I know they're going to try to keep doing what they're doing because they're winning. They're on a two game winning streak. It's going to be a hard fought game and guys are going to come ready to play and we're going to come ready to play. The Saints in the dome have a lot of tradition and it's going to be fun. I'm excited about it. I know the guys on my team are excited about it. I know those guys are excited about it."

Q: You have to be excited about running against the Saints after your last game against them?

A: "We were successful running against them the last time, but you know it's something that they'll be ready for and the thing we got to do is get ourselves prepared also. Like I say, it's going to be a hard bought game, sixty minutes of good football."

Q: When you played this team last time, they were coming off of losses to Tennessee and Indianapolis where they got hammered pretty good. Do you see any difference when you see them on film?

A: "They're playing fast. They're making plays. They're just playing good. The thing we got to do is keep doing what we're doing and when they come in we got to adjust to what they're trying to do, make adjustments, but like I said, it's going to be a hard fought game. They're playing hard and the way they're winning those games, you got to have guys playing hard and playing together and they're doing that."

Q: New Orleans did a good job on you guys in the first half of the game last time. Did you guys make some adjustments on them and open things up in the second half?

A: "We just stayed with what we were doing. The guys up front were doing a better job in the second half than they was in the first half. Those guys came ready to play and I know they're going to be ready to play and we just got to get ourselves prepared during the week."

Q: Can you give us some good stories about Jake Delhomme?

A: "He's funny. I thought I was hard to understand when I'm talking. Jake is very hard to understand."

Q: What makes him a good leader and a good quarterback for your team?

A: "He's a feisty guy. He's going to do whatever it takes to help the team win. He's going to get it going with his enthusiasm and he's an exciting guy. He made things exciting and now we're excited."

Q: Does he play any jokes?

A: "I think he's real serious. I think he sees where he's got an opportunity here and he's got to go out and make the best of it."

Q: Have you guys had trouble understanding him?

A: "I have sometimes, but I'm a country bum myself, so I picked up on it quick."

Q: Jake threw 49 passes last week. That's really not what you want in that offense?

A: "We try to do whatever it takes to do to win. We felt we had to come back last week and throw it more than we normally throw it. We were trying to win the game. Whatever it takes to help us win games, even if he's running the ball or throwing the ball or whatever, to win the game as a team."

Q: Does your team favor more of a ground-oriented attack?

A: "The thing is that it's old school football. We're going to try to run the ball. The thing is that it's not a secret with anybody. We just need to keep executing our offense the way we're capable of doing. It doesn't matter if it's running, passing, play action pass or whatever. We got to keep doing it to be successful."
