this is my theory- these people make predictions and what they are cheering for during their commentating on the game is that they will be right.

Exactly why James was taken off the college football analytical roundtable at ESPN until his son's situation was resolved - conflict of interest. Of course, FOX has little interest in avoiding conflicts of interest.
