Devery Henderson

Now i don't want to jump on him too quick because of a couple of drops, but those are the types of plays that he would have easily made a year ago.

I noticed one drop in the Vikings game
Two in the past game, the long pass was an awesome throw by brees, couldn't have been any better.

Not trying to diss Henderson, but does anyone think that Arrington should see the field a little, seen as Meachem has been non existent. Colston has been double covered a couple of times, maybe lance moore will see even more targets vs the panthers, he is electric.

Any thoughts??

After back to back seasons where it appeared he was cured of dropsies, the disease once again has resurfaced. He plays a big part of our offense stretching opposing defenses and taking away safeties for our underneath routes, hopefully he'll hit up the jug machine and get this problem fixed quickly.

Henderson was catching with his hands last year. The few he dropped then, were in traffic where he was trying to protect himself while catching the ball like he was holding/cuddling a newborn. Moore put on a clinic Sunday. I hope Henderson was paying attention in class. All during warm ups, Henderson was snagging the ball with his hands, but as soon as things got thick, he reverted back to his old habits. Henderson had to work at the hands thing; and it seems he has more work to do...enough work where he doesn't have to think about it, it just happens when the ball comes his way. Colston dropped a few last year with that same arms-wrists-bread basket thing. He came back out of it and Henderson will too.

That bomb fro Drew couldnt have been placed better if Drew would have run up the field and put it in his hands. That should have been a completion. Got a feeling he'll come around, and its always good to see the human vacuum cleaner gobbling up passes again. Its been way too long.

he almost recovered on that bomb, if memory serves...

its what would have happened if Lynn Swann had dropped the Levitating Leap.

Devery is not going to drop any more big ones. He'll be fine.

Don't worry about Devery Henderson. He is going to correct the mistakes he made. No disrespect to anyone else, but Devery is the best receiver on the team.

Sorry MatthewT, our best receiver finally got touches Sunday and we all saw the result. Moore is the quickest, has the best hands, best seperation, best adjustment on bad throws, and just to be fair, he's ONE of the best after the catch. Henderson is a specialist whereas Moore can do it all.

Well Henderson is the quickest but I agree. Moore is so slick it's crazy.

Well I'm not ready to throw the guy under the bus for a few key drops, but I don't think he's the best WR on the team either...just sayin...
