The New Orleans Saints released receiver Adrian Arrington to make room for new kicker John Carney. If Adrian passes through waivers, they could bring him back on the practice squad.

The Saints also brought back offensive tackle Jermey Parnell to their practice squad Wednesday.

I don't like this move. 2 kickers always seems to cause problems.

AA doesn't play special teams, and WR is a position of strength.

He was probably the most likely to be cut. I'd probably would have preferred to cut Humphrey instead, or maybe Torrence, but its close.

Hadn't really thought about Special Teams - and that makes some sense. Still, was Carney (a guy I really like by the way) the best option we had? Just seems like we're swapping a young and talented WR for a temporary solution at kicker.
