Playing like **** and without emotion. We are being outplayed and outcoached. We give teams the game. We don't do anything well on offense anymore- we can't run, we can't pass, we can't catch, and we can't block.

Those old feelings coming back again where we are losing to teams we should beat and almost beating the teams we shouldn't win against, just enough to give us a little hope until next week. I don't feel anything this morning because we've been here done this many years before. I only hope that coach is as good as we think he is and can kick someone's arse to get this back on track. We have the talent but maybe the Madden Curse and Superbowl hangover as just too much to overcome. I thought we would be different alot different. We barely beat the Viqueens and the 49ers we could be 1-4 so I'm happy for now COACH!

i too blew chunks after this game. you mean to tell me i live in a world where:
we just broke the bank on a offensive guard who now all of a sudden is a penalty machine not to mention hasnt really blocked that great. our rb situation is absolute garbage. our play selection is the exact opposite of what i think we should do (but i am a loser...what do i know). colston has butter fingers all of a sudden. devery is our new #1 receiver?!?!?! dont really think jenkins is that great at fs. charleston is better than alex brown stain. juneya gallete doesnt even get a shot. we can barely score 20 pts on a garbage d. we lose toteams led by max hall. and we blow two time outs on 3 plays?!?!!?

Go down swinging. Get knocked out because you missed with your right and got caught with a left. Don't get chased down, then beat down, stay on one knee for the 9 count, just to hop up and do it again until the referee stops the thing. There was no urgency down 10 in the 4th. I could have shook all the pixels loose in the TV. My only pleasure was flipping over to watch the Cowboys go down in flames.

What makes me sick, is that Payton had his worst coaching performance in his history with us.

I've been cool with trick plays that didnt work, the (not really) double-reverse, and such. But with 6 1/2 minutes left and a 10 point deficit, its time to go hurry up. Its time to start going no-huddle. It is not time to run up the middle.

We have got to learn clock management. The clock is such an important part of the game, and to this date, apparently only Tom Landry really ever understood the Time concept of football.

1. (ask John Madden) "I am the only Raider that can call timeout." Madden did not allow his QB's to look at the defense, and throw up their hands and call timeout. I HATE HATE HATE when QBS call timeout at the line of scrimmage. How many times do you lose, not because the other team has beaten you, but because you have run out of time. How many times could an L be turned into a W, if you just had 30 seconds. WHY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD do we waste timeouts???? Do not call timeout at the line of scrimmage, just because you dont like the defense. Take a delay of game penalty, throw the ball away, or improvise. Brees wasted two timeouts yesterday on a drive we didnt even score on. Basically he gave the defense a breather.

With all your timeouts, after you've just scored 7, you have the option to kick downfield, and stuff their obvious run, or hope they'll try to pass, and maybe fumble --- like they did.

2. Kurt Warner noticed it too. Where was the sense of urgency when you're down by 10?

3. Jeremy Shockey, when you catch a first down, and then beautifully juke a defensive back, and youre down by 10 in the 4th, your next destination should be the sideline. In this situation, an extra yard doesnt matter. An extra 35 seconds does.

You're going to get beat sometimes by stronger faster players, and pumped up home-field defenses. And we have a history of making obscure QB's look like Johnny Unitas. But we have the guns to mount
a rally anytime. If we only had the brains.

Clock management will win games like yesterday's.

Did all the kickers in the world drop dead? Used to be they grew on trees. One time Atlanta found a bartender that could kick. I am not making this stuff up. The Oilers one time found a washed up soccer player from Austria. Are they really that hard to find????
