Happy For the Loss?

Ok, so no, I'm not "happy" we lost. I never enjoy it when we lose.

Still, maybe this loss will wake up the "we'll be fine" crowd, and I heard a lot of players hinting in the same direction over the last couple weeks. "Oh, we played a good team", or "Credit them for a hard fought game". It's all crap.

Maybe this team needed to lose...and not to a quality Steelers team, because then we'd hear the, "Hey that's a good team" crap. No, we needed to lose to one of the worst teams in the league, starting a rook at QB.

Even with our injuries we are a FAR more talented team than 'zona, and Tampa coming up. Maybe this is the thing that needed to happen to get everyone's mind a safe distance from LAST YEAR. Maybe this was just embarrassing enough to rouse the team. Maybe...

C'mon Man...

I'm not buying saintfan. I bought this type of talk after the Falclowns game but not this time. We needed to win this game and win it big for morale. Now we are on our heels going to Tampa. I hate to say it but Tampa is licking their chops to get us in such a position.

We played just as ugly with Reggie and PT and just happen to get away with it. The way we've been playing, every contest is a roll of the dice.

This isn't the team that won the Superbowl. They look just like 'em but they don't play like 'em. Night of the living dead! Zombies?
