That "Hakim Dropped the Ball" feeling

As a Rangers fan, I got that "Hakim Dropped the Ball" feeling last night. It was just amazing to see them get to the second round of the playoffs, after so many years of struggling and falling short. Cliff Lee's stuff is nasty and this team has so much heart and energy. Bring on the Yankees!

Anyway, I just thought it was a nice reminder of how sweet it was when we finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel in 2000. And a little lesson to appreciate how blessed we are as Saints fans :-)

I am feeling it after the Rangers big win last night. My roommate is a fan of the Rangers like I am of the Saints. He text me last night wanting me to come drink with him to celebrate. I'm hating him today.

I am glad for you Rangers fans. But please don't ever relate a great Saints moment with a Texas Rangers moment again.:brood:

This reminds me of Monday night.A Vikings player bobbled the kickoff and the announcer said he looked like a Braves second baseman. That hurt my heart as a Braves fan.

Yeah, you could say that. Fortunately, I didn't pay a dime for any of my drinks. I used to work at the place and a buddy of mine was bartending. It's a good thing, but a bad thing at the same time. My head hasn't stopped spinning yet. I NEED AN OLD PRIEST AND A YOUNG PRIEST! THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU! THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU!

I watched and was proud for them and felt the same way. We moved to San Francisco a year ago, but prior to that I lived in Arlington and went to a lot of Rangers games. That team has worked its ass off. It is not possible to describe how happy I'll be if they can manage to take the Yankees down - and they played NY well at home this year.
