Someone that doesnt get a boner off of 5 wr shotgun sets needs to call the plays....because payton is becoming a pain in the ass
I have to agree with this--he doesn't run enough early, if he doesn't get six to ten yards per play, he abandons it, then they get in trouble, and it's all pass all the time.

Plus if you guys haven't noticed it, it seems like they always play better against good teams, and suck against weaker teams.

I obviously can't say exactly why, but one would tend to think it has to do with less preparation.

One more thing--the league is very tight this year, more than usual. Even the 0-6 teams can knock you off. Look at the Frisco game, 16-14 for instance, and this game of course.

I fully expect a good game against Pitt, and I agree with the other guy--this year 4-3 is pretty good. Sadly, they are third in the division again, and the South is pretty strong.

I believe it's more of an execution problem more than the play calling. We've got a lot of games left and Payton will reconfigure what he needs too. When he was in Dallas he was stripped of calling the plays and I'm sure he understands the whole picture. If he needs to step back I think it would be Loomis and Rita who talk to him about that.

special teams coach needs to be looked at big time. is this the typical bro-n-law job? he needs to get with the program because somebody should get tete slapped on yesterday. then all the way down to drew. needs pep talk. and maybe let drew throw for the enzone more often, we might get a flag our way. our recievers are not getting open no if and or butts. colston was raped all day yesterday, but still caught plenty devery was not found. i'll stop there.
