Encouraged by Herschel Walker who at age 48 has defied aging and continues to compete in Mixed Martial Arts. Merkens now 55 has been training for this moment to make league history. Once tagged as the Jack Of All Trades looks forward to the challenges of the league.

Last i heard, he was General Manager of Car Max in Houston.

With a name Like Guido we need to sign him. Maybe he bring back a little toughness that we've lost along the way.

Cool name. Before my time so I don't remember him but from his stats he was indeed a jack of all trades. Glad he took care of himself. Many of those old cats let themselves go to the point of no return. At a minimum he should speak to the team before a game at some point.

i remember guido as a third string qb, but he played special teams mostly and every position that the team was short on,
