Why I'm not too worried.

Reason 1: The NFC sucks! The Giants are the best team in the conference? Really?

Reason 2: We really are missing some of the best players on the team. Pierre Thomas is a complete back and is like Harry Houdini on those screen passes. Reggie changes the game just by being on the field and is the best 3rd down back in the league. Porter and Greer are one the best CB tandems in the league and now we have Sharper back.

Reason 3: When he's on Brees is the best QB in the league. I think he'll get back in the groove soon.

Reason 44: GW has the defense playing like best d in the NFC.

I refuse to go back to being the same old Saints fan.

brees played bad like this in 07, too. the year after taking us to the nfc championship. its his fault we are sucking so bad this year.

I do not want this team to end up not looking like the winners they are.
I am a lil bit worried.
They have to tighten up and focus more.
I understnad the injuries are a bad break that happens in football and it does change the dynamics of the team.
Still, the the 2nd strings are proballers. They should play like they are in the pros.

Plus our offense can "turn it on" at any given moment and then teams better watch the **** out.

I knew this was going to happen, a knock down drag out with the Falcons. Beating the Steelers at this point is going to be one tall order for this bunch. That to me is the season. If they lose that game it's going to take Atlanta getting into some some serious funk to get an edge.I truly believe if they can win that game it will set the tone for the rest of the season. We have to win that game.

I think if we can get the running game going, and be balanced we can see some of the 09 Saints...

we saw what we can do when we are balance on offense...The game last nite was good a one for Payton to watch ..the Giants got down 20 to 7 ..and never stopped running the ball on that dallas 3-4 D ..and low and behold ...it opened up the passing game for NY...

Tom Coughlin put on a school in coaching last nite...and there D brings QB pressure {see Tony Romo} ..that we dont have...

So Payton needs to look at that game last nite and learn to be balanced again...

Bottom line our coaching and offense ate the cheese so far this season..
We will see the Giants in the post season ..if we get balanced..:bng:

I dunno man, they gave up alot of yards and points to dallas last night. I know a couple of Giants fans who think our D is better. We aint knocking out QBs like they are, but we are stingy on allowing other teams to score on us.

Off the top of my head, I would say that Eli gave them 17 and the ST gave them 7...so, of the 35 they scored, the defense only gave up 11...just sayin'.

As ugly as Saints football has been this season, you "almost" have to believe that we will stop shooting ourselves in the foot. We recently gave up 60 points when only allowing 1 rush/pass touchdown; ONE! How do you do something like that? Is it even possible to do something like that again? Can Brees really throw another 7 picks over the next 2 weeks? We have just about used up our ration of self defeat. I am hopeful that this team CAN clean up the mis-queues, limit the penalties, make a few plays and finish this thing strong like we know they can.
